Occupational Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our Brighton team. In this role, you will work closely with patients to develop customised therapy plans aimed at improving their daily living and working skills. You will apply your expertise to assess and address the psychological and physical needs of clients, ultimately helping them regain independence and enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and perform detailed assessments.
• Create engaging therapy programmes to motivate clients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Assess the effectiveness of treatments and adapt accordingly.
• Provide support and education to patients and their families.
• Promote the importance of independence and self-management.
• Document treatment plans and patient interactions comprehensively.

Advantageous

• Occupational Therapy Registration: Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Experience with paediatric therapy: Expertise in working with children in therapy settings.
