Job Description

As a Public Health Official at Health First Organisation, you will be at the forefront of public health initiatives in Portsmouth. Your role will involve designing and implementing health programs, conducting research, and liaising with community stakeholders to improve health outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Plan and evaluate community engagement strategies to improve public health awareness.
  • Conduct focus groups and surveys to assess community health needs.
  • Collaborate with various sectors and agencies to facilitate integrated health services.
  • Maintain accurate records of health program activities and outcomes.
  • Develop partnerships with local businesses and organisations to support health initiatives.
  • Assist in responding to health crises and emergencies within the community.
  • Visualize and communicate health data to inform decision-making processes.
  • Foster a culture of health and wellness through community events and workshops.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Community Health or a related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health is strongly preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in public health program management

  • Statistical Analysis Software (SAS)

Certifications
  • Public Health Certificate from an accredited institution
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
Languages
  • English: Fluent
