Job Description

As a Collector of Aquarium Specimens, you will play a vital role in preserving diverse marine life. Your responsibilities will include collecting and transporting marine organisms, maintaining aquarium habitats, and ensuring optimal health and quality for our exhibits.

Responsibilities

• Harvest marine life sustainably, ensuring minimal ecological impact.
• Collaborate with the aquarium maintenance team to ensure quality care.
• Assist in aquatic life acclimatization processes.
• Lead educational sessions and engage with the public on conservation.
• Keep up-to-date with marine biology research and trends.
• Maintain compliance with legal and environmental standards.
• Support the team in developing exhibit themes and ideas.
• Conduct regular health assessments of marine organisms.
• Document findings and share insights with team members.
• Contribute to community outreach and awareness programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology or Ecology, Master's preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in aquarium settings prefered

• Aquatic Species Identification

Certifications

• Diving Certification (PADI or equivalent)

Languages

• English: Fluent
