Job Description

As a Mixing and Blending Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our mixing plant to produce high-quality concrete mixtures. You will ensure adherence to safety procedures while optimizing productivity and quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of mixing equipment and ensure optimal production levels.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on the plant equipment.
• Prepare and mix concrete according to specified formulas.
• Keep detailed records of production operations and any anomalies.
• Collaborate with quality control to ensure satisfactory testing of mixtures.
• Train new staff on operational procedures and safety standards.
• Adhere to environmental regulations and internal policies.
• Assist with inventory management and materials handling.
• Follow instructions from the Plant Manager and report on operations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in plant operations is advantageous

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in mixing plant operations or a related field

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with PLCs: Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers and automated systems.
