Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sanitation Laborer to perform cleaning and maintenance duties in a food processing plant. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team. This role involves ensuring cleanliness and compliance with health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and ensure cleanliness of production equipment.
• Assist in implementing waste reduction initiatives.
• Work under the guidance of the Operations Manager to ensure compliance with sanitation standards.
• Engage in continuous learning to maintain the latest sanitation practices.
• Participate in safety drills and training sessions.
• Support recycling efforts by sorting materials appropriately.
• Lead by example in promoting a culture of cleanliness and safety.
• Provide feedback on equipment performance and suggest improvements.
• Maintain a positive team environment through effective communication.
• Report incidents or safety concerns promptly to management.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in sanitation or cleaning preferred.
