Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Database Systems Manager to oversee our database environment in Liverpool. The ideal candidate will manage database architecture, performance, and security, ensuring data integrity and availability.
Responsibilities
Lead the database team in the operational management of database systems.
Implement disaster recovery plans and data security measures.
Facilitate database consolidation and integration projects.
Assist in capacity planning and performance tuning.
Generate reports on database usage and performance metrics.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
Conduct training for staff on database management best practices.
Collaborate with IT support teams to resolve technical issues.
Review and refine database policies and procedures.
Engage with stakeholders to align database strategies with business goals.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
Relevant certifications are an advantage

5+ years of experience in database management and administration
