We are looking for an experienced Hatchery Manager to oversee our fish hatchery operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hatchery management, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations, whilst effectively managing the team.

Responsibilities

• Direct and improve all aspects of hatchery operations to meet organisation goals.
• Manage inventory and supplies of fish eggs and feed.
• Work on strategic planning for hatchery expansions and upgrades.
• Respond to operational challenges swiftly to reduce impact on production.
• Foster a culture of safety and teamwork within the hatchery.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Fisheries Management or Aquaculture
• Relevant postgraduate qualifications are preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in a supervisory role within hatchery management.
