Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to support our growing team in Cardiff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring all IT systems operate effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely technical support for IT issues via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Perform installation and configuration of user workstations.
  • Ensure systems are backed up and recoverable.
  • Monitor system performance and security logs.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new employees with IT setup.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects.
  • Maintain a professional rapport with all staff and clients.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • CompTIA Network+ certification is a plus
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in technical support

  • Troubleshooting hardware and software

Certifications
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
