Job Description

As a Construction Foreman, you will oversee and coordinate construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead a team of skilled labourers and collaborate closely with subcontractors and suppliers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and have excellent leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the workflow on construction sites efficiently.
  • Conduct safety meetings and ensure compliance with all health regulations.
  • Coordinate with project managers to meet project deadlines.
  • Review project plans and specifications to ensure accuracy.
  • Address any construction-related issues promptly.
  • Monitor the quality of work and ensure compliance with building codes.
  • Maintain a positive and productive working environment.
  • Act as a point of contact for all site-related inquiries.
  • Assist with procurement and inventory management of materials.
  • Prepare documentation for project completion and handover.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant degree in Construction Management
Experience
  • 5+ years in a supervisory role within construction
Technical Skills
  • Project management software
  • Knowledge of building materials and methods
Soft Skills

Certifications
  • NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
Languages
  • English: Fluent
