Job Description

As a Construction Coordinator, you will manage all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. The role involves coordinating contractors, scheduling inspections, and maintaining compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all stages of construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Lead project meetings and ensure effective communication within teams.
  • Monitor ongoing project compliance with industry regulations.
  • Track and report project progress against established milestones.
  • Assist in the hiring and training of construction staff.
  • Manage project documentation and ensure all paperwork is completed.
  • Evaluate contractor performance and negotiate contracts.
  • Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to facilitate project needs.
  • Enhance project effectiveness through strategic planning and resource allocation.
  • Implement best practices in project management methodologies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are an advantage
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction project management
