Job Description

As a Sub Arc Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining sub arc welding equipment to join metal components effectively. You will focus on achieving high standards of quality in your welds while adhering to safety regulations and standards. Your role will involve reading and interpreting welding blueprints and instructions, ensuring that every weld meets our specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Responsibilities

  • Setup welding equipment according to project specifications.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on welding machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot issues with welding processes and equipment.
  • Document all work completed and prepare reports as necessary.
  • Train junior welders on techniques and equipment use.

Requirements

Education
  • Valid welding certification (e.g., City & Guilds, AWS, CSWIP)
  • Secondary education or equivalent in a related field
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sub arc welding or a related field.
