Concrete Building Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a Concrete Building Assembler who will be responsible for meticulously assembling precast concrete panels and structures in alignment with architectural plans and specifications. The ideal candidate should possess a keen eye for detail, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be dedicated to maintaining high quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut precast concrete to specified dimensions.
• Assemble and erect precast concrete components accurately.
• Install reinforcing steel and post-tensioning cables as needed.
• Apply grouting and sealing materials where applicable.
• Regularly inspect work site for safety compliance.
• Assist in training new assembly staff on protocols.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition.
• Keep accurate records of daily activities and production output.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve project goals.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Certifications in health and safety regulations are advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year experience in concrete assembly or manufacturing

Technical Skills

• CAD software proficiency
• Operational knowledge of construction tools

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Detail-oriented

Advantageous

• Experience in construction safety regulations: Understanding of UK’s construction health and safety standards.
• Familiarity with operations management software: Experience in using software to manage construction projects.
