Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Door Repairer to join our installation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing a variety of residential doors, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, thorough attention to detail, and a strong understanding of door mechanisms.

Responsibilities

  • Work independently and as part of a team to install residential door units.
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot door systems to ensure reliability and security.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Communicate with clients about the installation process and any necessary repairs.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry practices and materials.

Requirements

Education
  • GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Relevant vocational qualifications such as NVQs or City & Guilds
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Residential Door Unit Installer or similar role
