House Moving Supervisor

Job Description

As the House Moving Supervisor, you will oversee the entire moving process, ensuring timely and efficient relocations for our clients. You will be responsible for coordinating the moving teams, managing logistics, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate moving logistics including timing and staffing.
• Manage inventory and checklists for all items being moved.
• Implement best practices to ensure efficiency in relocation operations.
• Monitor the movement of goods to ensure they are handled safely and securely.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on their move status.
• Lead meetings with the moving team to discuss plans and address concerns.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
• Prepare and submit reports regarding operational performance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations affecting logistics and moving.
• Foster a positive environment within the team to encourage collaboration.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in logistics or related fields is an asset

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years in supervisory roles in logistics or moving services.

Technical Skills

• Transportation planning software

Languages

• English: Fluent
