Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Learning Specialist to join our Cardiff team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms and frameworks, and a passion for developing and implementing cutting-edge AI solutions to tackle complex business challenges.

Responsibilities

• Develop predictive models and algorithms across various platforms.
• Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and trends.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to identify use cases for machine learning.
• Assist in mentoring junior team members and interns in ML practices.
• Work towards productionization of machine learning models.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• PhD in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a relevant field with demonstrated machine learning expertise

Technical Skills

• Deep Learning
• Data Visualization tools (Tableau, Matplotlib)

Certifications

• AWS Certified Machine Learning
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP): Ability to work on projects involving NLP and text analysis.
• Experience with MLOps practices: Familiarity with operationalization of machine learning models.
