Job Description

As a Set Designer at Creative Studios Ltd., you will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating stunning set designs for a variety of productions. Collaborating closely with directors and the creative team, you will translate scripts and ideas into visually compelling environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative set design concepts that fit within the project’s narrative.
  • Ensure all set designs comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Work closely with costume designers to align set aesthetics with character outfits.
  • Supervise set construction on-site, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
  • Provide input on the maintenance and storage of set designs after productions.
  • Collaborate on marketing presentations to visually showcase completed projects.
  • Document the design process and final builds for future reference.
  • Contribute to post-production evaluations to improve future design processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Theatre Design or related field
  • Further education or certifications in related fields is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role within film or theatre
