We are looking for a talented Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in structural design and will be responsible for delivering innovative engineering solutions that meet project requirements and client specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative solutions to complex engineering problems.
• Draft and review technical specifications and project documentation.
• Conduct training sessions and presentations to stakeholders.
• Implement project management best practices in all aspects of engineering.
• Actively participate in project meetings and provide updates on progress.
• Ensure adherence to budgetary constraints while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field
• Professional qualification in engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural design and project management

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Building Regulations

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Structural Engineering Certification
• NEBOSH Certificate in Construction Health and Safety

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Project management experience on large-scale projects: Experience in managing extensive structural projects from inception to completion.
• Knowledge of seismic design principles: Understanding of seismic analysis and design strategies.
