Job Description

As a Resident Care Coordinator, you will oversee and coordinate care services for residents living in a senior care facility. Your role will involve developing tailored care plans, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and leading a team of caregivers dedicated to enhancing resident wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure all residents receive appropriate care.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
  • Monitor the performance of care staff and provide assistance as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Engage with residents and their families to assess satisfaction levels.
  • Facilitate staff meetings and engage in performance development discussions.
  • Lead training sessions for new staff and ongoing training for existing staff.
  • Implement feedback mechanisms to enhance service quality and resident satisfaction.
  • Participate in care reviews and strategic planning for the facility.
  • Support end-of-life care and palliative services as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Nursing
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred
Experience
  • Proven experience in a similar role with strong knowledge of elderly care.
