Job Description

As a Food Safety Specialist at Innovative Food Solutions, you will oversee and implement food safety management systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. You will work closely with the production team to maintain high-quality standards and address any food safety issues that arise, contributing to the overall mission of delivering safe and quality food products.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and present food safety reports to management.
• Coordinate with external regulatory bodies during inspections.
• Monitor and analyse food safety data to drive improvements.
• Design and implement staff training programs focused on food hygiene.
• Work with suppliers to ensure safety standards are met.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or related discipline
• Advanced degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in a food safety position, ideally within manufacturing
