X Ray Physician

Job Description

As an X Ray Physician, you will accurately interpret and diagnose images obtained through X-ray, CT scans, and MRI. Your expertise will directly contribute to patient safety and collaborative healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and interpret MRI scans alongside X-ray and CT imaging.
• Advise patients on the implications of imaging results and potential follow-up actions.
• Ensure compliance with established protocols for patient care and safety.
• Engage in continuous education and training related to imaging modalities and standards.
• Support junior staff and radiographers in their professional development.
• Assist in research initiatives and clinical trials related to radiology.

Requirements

Education

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of a fellowship in radiology is preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of radiology experience, especially in diagnostic imaging

• X-ray Proficiency
• Patient Management Systems

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in pediatric radiology: Specialized experience with imaging children.
• Familiarity with PACS and EMR systems: Proficient use of Picture Archiving and Communication System and Electronic Medical Records.
