Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team in Newcastle. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing day-to-day operations of research projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and submission of Investigator's Brochures and study protocols to ethics committees.
  • Coordinate with laboratories, imaging facilities, and other service providers.
  • Provide guidance and support to clinical staff on study-related issues.
  • Organize and participate in study meetings and conferences.
  • Assist in drafting publications and presentations based on study outcomes.
  • Evaluate and monitor sites for compliance and performance.
  • Support the establishment of quality assurance protocols.
  • Implement corrective actions to resolve compliance issues.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline
  • Master's in Public Health or Clinical Research is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical settings
Technical Skills
  • Familiarity with clinical trial management software
  • Statistical analysis

Certifications
  • Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC)
  • Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Certification
Languages
