Calibration Technologists and Technicians

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Calibration Technologist/Technician to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing calibrations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Measure, adjust, and document results of calibration processes.
• Continuously monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements.
• Support the quality assurance team in maintaining calibration standards.
• Work with quality control to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to address calibration challenges.
• Implement best practices in calibration processes and procedures.
• Ensure all calibration activities are carried out efficiently and safely.
• Record and report calibration downtime and efficiency.
• Train and mentor new technicians as required.
• Develop and review documentation for calibration protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Technical diploma in Engineering or related field
• Degree in Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in calibration processes and standards

Technical Skills

• Mechanical Systems Knowledge
• Knowledge of Calibration Standards

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving Skills
• Effective Communication

Certifications

• Calibration Quality Assurance Certification
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience using calibration management software: Hands-on experience with software systems designed for calibration management.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles: Understanding of efficiency and waste reduction techniques in manufacturing.
