Public Health Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a Public Health Analyst to join our team in Manchester. In this role, you will analyse health data, assess community health needs, and contribute to the development of evidence-based health programs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for public health and a strong analytical background.

Responsibilities

• Utilise statistical tools to analyse public health data.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design health interventions.
• Conduct assessments to evaluate health service accessibility and quality.
• Research public health policies and their impact on populations.
• Draft policy briefs and recommendations based on findings.
• Support community engagement efforts and health awareness campaigns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or similar
• Master's degree in Public Health or related field is an asset

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a public health-related position

• Epidemiological Methods
• Survey Design

• Problem Solving

Certifications

• Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES)
• Additional certifications are a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
