Job Description

As a Physiological Chemist, you will be responsible for conducting research and analysis on the chemical processes occurring in living organisms. You will study the interactions between chemicals, molecules, and biological systems to develop new medicines and therapies. We are seeking a skilled professional with a strong background in biochemistry and a passion for innovative research.

Responsibilities

  • Develop research proposals and grant applications to secure funding for innovative projects.
  • Evaluate experimental outcomes and adjust methodologies for continued improvement.
  • Engage in cross-functional team meetings to align research objectives with organisational goals.
  • Conduct literature reviews and integrate findings into ongoing research strategies.
  • Maintain a well-organised lab environment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Provide technical support and training for laboratory staff.

Requirements

Education
  • PhD in Physiological Chemistry or related field
Experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of post-doctoral research experience in physiological chemistry or a related field.
