Job Description

We are in search of an Art Curation Manager who is enthusiastic about the arts and has a keen eye for detail. This role involves leading our curatorial projects, developing exhibition concepts, and working closely with local artists and communities.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and curate exhibitions that reflect community interests and contemporary issues.
  • Establish partnerships with educational institutions and local organisations.
  • Coordinate events and openings to enhance audience engagement.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of art movements, artists, and funding opportunities.
  • Assist in acquiring artworks and negotiating loans.
  • Evaluate the success of exhibitions and programming through audience feedback.
  • Support the marketing team in promoting exhibitions and cultural events.
  • Mentor junior staff and interns within the art curation team.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Art History, Arts Management or similar discipline
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a curatorial role.
