Job Description
We are in search of an Art Curation Manager who is enthusiastic about the arts and has a keen eye for detail. This role involves leading our curatorial projects, developing exhibition concepts, and working closely with local artists and communities.
Responsibilities
Direct and curate exhibitions that reflect community interests and contemporary issues.
Establish partnerships with educational institutions and local organisations.
Coordinate events and openings to enhance audience engagement.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of art movements, artists, and funding opportunities.
Assist in acquiring artworks and negotiating loans.
Evaluate the success of exhibitions and programming through audience feedback.
Support the marketing team in promoting exhibitions and cultural events.
Mentor junior staff and interns within the art curation team.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Art History, Arts Management or similar discipline
Master's degree preferred
Experience
5+ years of experience in a curatorial role.
