Job Description

We are looking for an Access Control Specialist who will play a vital role in managing our access control systems. This position involves ensuring the security of our facilities by configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting access systems. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with security teams and internal departments to meet our security objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and adapt access control systems to meet evolving security needs.
  • Engage in cross-departmental collaboration to enhance security frameworks.
  • Evaluate access requests and make recommendations based on security compliance.
  • Maintain oversight on security breaches and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay abreast of compliance regulations affecting security systems.
  • Conduct training sessions for new hires on access management systems.
  • Manage relationships with external security technology vendors.
  • Prepare and present security updates to management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure sensitive documentation and access logs are securely maintained.
  • Lead projects aimed at enhancing overall security posture.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Additional certifications in IT security are advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in access control systems with emphasis on high-security environments
