Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cell Tower Technician to join our team. As a Cell Tower Tech, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing cell tower equipment to ensure uninterrupted network coverage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of cranes during installation and maintenance work.
• Ensure all equipment is used safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Document all maintenance and repair work carried out on cell tower sites.
• Assist in training new technicians on safe working practices.
• Assess and report any site-related hazards to management immediately.
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of workplace safety.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant certification in tower climbing and safety (e.g., Comtrain Tower Climbing Safety and Rescue)

Experience

• Prior experience working as a Cell Tower Technician or in a similar role within the telecommunications industry is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of cell tower equipment
• Proficient in RF signal analyzers
• Installation skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong teamwork and communication
• Attention to detail

Certifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Certified Tower Technician, RF Safety Awareness

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with advanced networking protocols: Knowledge of 5G networks and telecom standards.
• Familiarity with maintenance management software: Experience using software to track maintenance schedules and equipment status.
