Satellite Communications Specialist

Job Description

As a Satellite Communications Specialist, you will work closely with our engineering team to ensure the smooth operation of satellite technologies. You will support installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of our satellite systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the integration of satellite systems into existing telecommunications infrastructure.
• Monitor satellite network operations and perform diagnostics on issues.
• Work with vendors to assess and procure satellite equipment and services.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in satellite operations.
• Participate in project planning and execution for satellite communication initiatives.
• Develop strategies for optimizing satellite bandwidth and data throughput.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in satellite communications or related field
