We are seeking a skilled Muck Miner to join our team and play a vital role in our mining operations. The successful candidate will operate machinery to extract muck and waste materials from underground mines, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy machinery in muck extraction processes.
• Conduct regular equipment checks and report issues immediately.
• Work closely with the mining team to ensure smooth operations.
• Document all activities accurately as per guidelines.
• Assist with the training of new team members on safety practices.
• Engage in problem-solving during operational challenges.
• Maintain an organised workspace and adhere to cleanliness standards.
• Monitor the environmental impact of mining operations.
• Participate actively in team meetings and safety briefings.
• Support the supervisor in day-to-day operational activities.

Requirements

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in muck mining or a related role.

Certifications
