Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Disaster or Damage Control Specialist to ensure effective strategies and measures are in place for mitigating and managing disasters or damages in our organization. The specialist will be responsible for evaluating risks, developing preventative plans, and executing appropriate response actions.

Responsibilities

  • Train staff on disaster risk reduction and emergency response protocols.
  • Conduct simulations to test the effectiveness of emergency plans.
  • Research and apply new technologies in disaster management.
  • Build alliances with local stakeholders for disaster resilience initiatives.
  • Oversee the management of crisis communication strategies.
  • Review and update risk assessment methodologies and tools.
  • Participate in community drills and public awareness campaigns.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Disaster Management, Emergency Management, or relevant field
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in disaster or damage control, emergency management, or related field
