Job Description

As a Rehabilitation Counselor, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals through their recovery processes. Your expertise will guide patients towards regaining their independence and improving their quality of life through tailored rehabilitation strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop individualized rehabilitation strategies by assessing patients' needs and goals.
  • Monitor treatment plans, making modifications based on patient feedback and assessments.
  • Facilitate communication among healthcare providers, patients, and families.
  • Educate both patients and families on recovery techniques and available resources.
  • Engage in team-based discussions to enhance rehabilitation services and patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
  • Document all interventions and patient outcomes comprehensively.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay updated with rehabilitation advancements.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior staff and new hires.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy, Nursing, or a related healthcare field
  • Certification in Rehabilitation Counseling is desirable
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in rehabilitation or healthcare settings.
