Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Certified Midwife to provide hands-on support and guidance to expectant mothers. You'll conduct prenatal check-ups, assist during delivery, and facilitate postpartum care, helping families navigate this life-changing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments during prenatal visits to ensure maternal and fetal health.
• Support mothers throughout the childbirth process with empathy and care.
• Instruct and support mothers in various birthing techniques.
• Monitor vital signs and fetal heart rate during labour.
• Use EHR systems effectively to document patient information accurately.
• Encourage and facilitate family involvement throughout the maternity experience.
• Conduct follow-up visits and provide guidance on newborn care.
• Participate in community outreach programs promoting maternity services.

Advantageous

• Experience in high-risk pregnancies: Previous experience assisting mothers with complicated pregnancies.
• Mentorship experience: Experience supervising student midwives or providing educational workshops.
