Job Description

As a Central Sterilization Technician, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all medical instruments and equipment are meticulously cleaned, sterilized, and maintained. You'll play a crucial role in infection prevention and the overall safety of our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all instruments are cleaned and sterilized following healthcare standards.
  • Perform routine checks on sterilization equipment for performance.
  • Engage in team meetings to discuss sterilization processes and improvements.
  • Stay updated on new techniques and industry standards for sterilization.
  • Assist in training new staff on proper sterilization protocols.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a Central Service Technician or Sterile Processing course is a plus
Experience
  • Prior experience in a sterile processing or similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
