Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Postpartum Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive postpartum care to new mothers and their newborns, helping them navigate this critical period in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct physical assessments and vital sign monitoring for postpartum patients.
  • Provide hands-on support during the recovery of new mothers, ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Participate in patient education programs regarding newborn care and postpartum health.
  • Coordinate with lactation consultants to support breastfeeding.
  • Maintain accurate records in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Foster a welcoming environment for families, promoting positive experiences during their stay.
  • Encourage patient involvement in care decisions and health education.

Requirements

Education
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United Kingdom
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field (preferred)
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a postpartum or maternity ward setting.
