Join our team as a Broadcast Meteorologist, where you will play a key role in delivering weather information to a broad audience. Your responsibilities will encompass creating informative weather forecasts, engaging with viewers, and working collaboratively with our production team to enhance our broadcast quality.

Responsibilities

  • Generate compelling weather forecasts based on comprehensive meteorological data analysis.
  • Provide clear and concise on-air presentations of weather reports.
  • Work collaboratively with news anchors and producers to enhance weather-related programming.
  • Participate in team meetings to brainstorm new ideas for engaging weather segments.
  • Monitor ongoing weather conditions and update forecasts as necessary.
  • Respond to viewer inquiries about weather phenomena and forecasts.
  • Maintain a high standard of accuracy and ethical reporting in all weather communications.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Meteorology preferred
  • Certification in Broadcast Meteorology is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in meteorology, ideally with a broadcast background.

Languages
