Job Description

As a Bakery Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be overseeing all aspects of bakery operations. This includes managing a team of bakers, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining production standards to deliver high-quality baked goods.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production processes, ensuring adherence to the quality standards for all baked goods.
  • Assist in planning the workflow and assigning duties to bakery workers.
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels and conduct regular inventory audits.
  • Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed by team members.
  • Create innovative production techniques to improve efficiency and product quality.
  • Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching to enhance development.
  • Engage with customers to gather feedback and improve service offerings.
  • Lead regular team meetings to discuss improvements and product ideas.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and company health and safety standards.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers for ingredient procurement.

Requirements

Education
  • Culinary Arts Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Experience
  • 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a bakery.
