Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Consultant to join our Edinburgh office. In this role, you will analyze current security protocols, help implement industry-standard practices, and play a crucial role in incident response planning. You will collaborate with technical teams to ensure all systems are secure and compliant with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform security assessments and vulnerability tests.
• Implement and maintain firewalls, encryption, and other security measures.
• Draft and maintain documentation for security processes.
• Advise on security incident response and disaster recovery planning.
• Conduct security awareness training sessions.
• Participate in the development of security architecture.
• Liaise with law enforcement and regulatory agencies as needed.
• Stay current with the latest security trends and technology.
• Provide recommendations for improving security posture.
• Assist clients in managing third-party security risks.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or a related field
• Master's degree is a plus
