Job Description

Join our team as an Agricultural Sciences Teacher, where you will lead undergraduate and graduate courses in agriculture. You will support student research and foster an innovative learning environment focused on current agricultural challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment in agricultural sciences.
  • Engage in scholarly research and secure funding for projects.
  • Guide research proposals and publications for students.
  • Contribute to interdisciplinary projects within the university.
  • Participate in recruitment and retention of students in agricultural programs.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the academic environment.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
  • Develop partnerships with external organisations for research and internships.
  • Lead curriculum development and assessment strategies.
  • Attend and present at professional conferences.

Requirements

Education
  • PhD in Agricultural Sciences or a related field
Experience
  • Experience in teaching at a postsecondary level is preferred.
