Job Description

As a Track Laying Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate the construction and maintenance of railway tracks. Your leadership will be crucial in managing teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and optimising track laying processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in railway construction and a knack for problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the coordination of track laying operations to meet project deadlines.
  • Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards.
  • Prepare and manage project documentation and reports.
  • Monitor budgetary expenditures related to track laying activities.
  • Implement continuous improvements based on feedback and observations.
  • Provide regular team training on health and safety protocols.
  • Serve as the point of contact for project updates to management.
  • Organise logistics for materials and equipment required for the project.
  • Foster a positive and productive team environment.
  • Engage with external contractors to facilitate project completion.

Requirements

Education
  • Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Civil Engineering or a related field
Experience
  • 5 years of supervisory experience in track laying or civil engineering.
