Dental Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at Dental Health Solutions. In this role, you will assist with patient care, support the dental team during procedures, and ensure a smooth operation of the dental practice. An ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering great patient care.

Responsibilities

• Support dentists in all clinical tasks and procedures.
• Conduct inventory checks and order supplies as needed.
• Engage with patients to ensure a positive experience.
• Follow up on post-treatment care with patients.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
• Contribute to the practice’s patient retention efforts.
• Help create a welcoming and friendly environment for patients.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Dental Nursing or equivalent
• GDC registration would be an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a dental practice preferred

• Clinical Assistance

Certifications

• Certificate in Dental Nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a managerial role: A background in overseeing office tasks and team management.
• Training in sedation techniques: Certification in sedation dentistry would be advantageous.
