Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Drywall Stripper Helper to support our experienced team in removing and preparing drywall surfaces for various construction and renovation projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety while working on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Support the lead drywall stripper in all aspects of drywall removal.
  • Ensure that all tools are used properly and returned to storage safely.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the worksite at all times.
  • Follow safety protocols to minimize risk of injury.
  • Assist in prepping new drywall for installation if required.
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding progress and issues.
  • Document and report the quantity of materials used during projects.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions as needed.
  • Stay informed about safety techniques and best practices in the industry.
  • Adopt a proactive approach to problem-solving and improving work processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Basic understanding of construction and renovation processes.
Experience
  • Experience in the construction industry is desirable.
