Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cargo and Ramp Services Manager to oversee and manage our cargo and ramp operations. The successful candidate will ensure efficient and timely cargo handling, coordination of ramp activities, and adherence to safety regulations in our organisation. This dynamic role demands strong leadership and organizational abilities to optimise processes and enhance team performance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of cargo services, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Lead a team of cargo handlers, providing guidance and support.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
  • Ensure efficient use of resources to maximise operational efficiency.
  • Implement ISO and IATA standards in all processes.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and manage budgets for cargo operations.
  • Monitor the performance of the team and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Utilise data-driven insights to optimise cargo handling and ramp services.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the operation.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Aviation Management, or a related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • At least 5 years in cargo management roles with demonstrated leadership experience.
