Job Description

As a Furnace, Kiln, Oven, Drier, and Kettle Operator, you will be responsible for managing the operation of various heating equipment. Your role ensures the efficient and safe functioning of industrial processes by monitoring and maintaining machinery.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operations of kilns, driers, and kettles.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Train and mentor new operators on safety and operating procedures.
• Communicate with management regarding equipment performance and issues.
• Maintain knowledge of the latest industry standards and practices.
• Ensure that all operations comply with company policies and regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational or technical training in heating operations

Experience

• Demonstrated experience in operating and maintaining industrial boilers and kilns

Technical Skills

• Expertise in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Soft Skills

• Strong communication abilities
• Teamwork skills

Certifications

• Additional certifications in boiler operation or maintenance

Languages

• English: Fluent
