Port Purser

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented individual to fill the position of Port Purser. The Port Purser will be responsible for coordinating and managing administrative tasks related to passenger services, logistics, and port operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the embarkation and disembarkation process to ensure efficiency.
• Act as the primary point of contact for passengers regarding services offered.
• Maintain accurate records of passenger interactions and feedback.
• Support the logistics team in managing port operations.
• Implement safety drills and ensure all staff adhere to procedures.
• Facilitate communication between ship and shore staff.
• Assist in the training of new port staff members.
• Ensure all necessary documentation is prepared ahead of sailing.
• Monitor the flow of passengers to prevent bottlenecks.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues promptly.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Hospitality Management or related field is advantageous

Experience

• Experience in the cruise industry is a plus.
