Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Steamer responsible for operating and maintaining steam engines and boilers. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth running of industrial processes while adhering to safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure steam systems operate at optimal efficiency.
• Regularly assess and maintain boiler and engine performance.
• Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical issues promptly.
• Develop maintenance schedules to minimise downtime.
• Participate in safety audits and ensure adherence to procedures.

Requirements

Education

• City and Guilds/NVQ Level 2/3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Certification in Boiler Operation and Maintenance

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating and maintaining steam engines and boilers

• Valid Driver's License

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
