Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Urban Planner to join our team in Cardiff. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing sustainable urban strategies, engaging with community stakeholders, and ensuring all projects align with local planning regulations. You will work closely with architects and engineers to design urban spaces that meet the needs of the community while promoting eco-friendly practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of urban renewal strategies.
• Coordinate project timelines and manage budgets effectively.
• Prepare presentations for public meetings and stakeholder consultations.
• Monitor project progress and prepare status reports.
• Identify funding opportunities for urban development initiatives.
• Develop guidelines for sustainable development practices.
• Conduct public outreach efforts to ensure community involvement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or Environmental Management
• Master's degree in Urban Planning is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in urban planning or related fields
