Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Art Framing Manager to lead our framing team. This role involves not only managing framing projects but also collaborating with clients to ensure their artistic vision is realised with the best materials and techniques available.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the framing department, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
• Work closely with curators and artists to provide expert advice on framing materials and designs.
• Implement best practices for safety and quality within the workshop.
• Document framing specifications and maintain accurate records for all artworks framed.
• Conduct regular training sessions for the framing team to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in framing or conservation techniques is preferred

Experience

• Experience working with high-value artworks or special collections is an advantage

Languages

• English: Fluent
