Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Brine Tank Operator to join our team at our Birmingham facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating brine tanks, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the correct brine concentration for optimal production.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect brine tanks for any signs of wear or malfunction.
  • Assist in the preparation and mixing of chemical solutions.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of brine tanks and associated equipment.
  • Collect samples for laboratory analysis and record process data accurately.
  • Monitor product specifications and report any deviations.
  • Assist in inventory management and ordering of necessary materials.
  • Maintain documentation related to operations and maintenance.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and regulations diligently.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Vocational training in food processing or related field preferred.
Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the food and beverage industry.
Technical Skills
  • Understanding of Brine Tank Operations
