Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Petroleum Refinery Control Panel Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for monitoring and controlling all aspects of the refinery processes and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise control room activities and oversee the operation of refinery equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of refinery installations to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Train junior operators on monitoring and operational procedures.
  • Maintain effective communication with team members and management for operational effectiveness.
  • Utilise SCADA and distributed control systems for operational efficiency and reporting.
  • Prepare reports on production metrics for management review.
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance teams for scheduled and unscheduled repairs.
  • Implement process improvements based on operational data analysis.
  • Assist in the development of operating procedures and guidelines.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies relevant to refinery operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant qualifications in engineering or process technology
  • Further education in safety management is advantageous
Experience
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role within refinery operations is a plus.

Languages
