Core Driller Helper

Job Description

As a Core Driller Helper, you will be instrumental in supporting the core drilling operations. You'll assist in maintaining drilling equipment, ensuring safety protocols are adhered to, and performing various tasks to facilitate efficient drilling activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and dismantling of drilling rigs.
• Work efficiently to support the core driller in daily activities.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of core samples.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss drilling progress.
• Maintain accurate records of operations and equipment usage.
• Continuously seek ways to improve safety and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in drilling or extraction roles is preferred but not essential.

Technical Skills

• Ability to operate drilling equipment
• Knowledge of safety protocols

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills

Certifications

• First Aid certification is preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with site safety regulations: Experience adhering to health and safety standards in a drilling context.
• Previous site work experience: Experience working in outdoor or construction environments is a plus.
